Website information
When you visit qubitapp.live, our hosting provider may process standard request information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and time of access so the site can load and remain secure.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website. We configure tool output areas to be masked where the site contains interactive tools.
If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply to you.
Qubit app information
Qubit is a Mac app for dictation, meeting notes, and asking questions about your work context.
Your Qubit work memory is stored locally on your Mac in an encrypted database. We do not store that work memory as a cloud database.
Qubit may process on-screen text through macOS Accessibility, audio you dictate, and audio from meetings you choose to capture. Qubit does not need screenshots to build work memory.
Service providers
Qubit uses service providers for parts of the product that are not fully local. Audio may be sent to speech-to-text providers for transcription. A limited slice of context may be sent to a language model when Qubit needs to answer or process something for you.
Current service providers may include Anthropic, Sarvam, OpenAI, Cerebras, Supabase, Microsoft Clarity, GitHub, Railway, and Google services. These providers process information for the services they provide to Qubit.
Some providers may process information outside India. We use them because they are needed to run the website, distribute the app, process requests, or provide AI and transcription features.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website, provide the app, transcribe audio, answer requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, respond to support messages, and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Private testing
Qubit is early software. Private testing builds may collect additional diagnostic information when a tester has agreed to that testing arrangement.
If you are using a private build, follow the specific testing note you received with that build.
Retention and deletion
Because your Qubit work memory lives on your Mac, the main copy of that memory is controlled from your device.
For information we hold on our systems, we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
You can ask us to delete information associated with you by contacting [email protected].
Security
Qubit is designed around local encrypted work memory, macOS permissions, and limited service-provider processing. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle.
No system is perfectly secure, and Qubit is not currently certified under frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA.
Your requests
You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request correction, request deletion, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern.
We will respond to privacy requests sent to [email protected] or raised by phone at +91 8562868957.
Children
Qubit is not intended for children. Do not use Qubit if you are under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy as Qubit changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
